Job Description

Responsibilities*
Upgrade and maintenance of two high fidelity vacuum chambers at the Plasmadynamics and Electric Propulsion Laboratory.
Testing support for electric propulsion system under USSF and DARPA programs
Conducting independent engineering and research projects
Design and fabrication of electric propulsion hardware
Required Qualifications*
B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics
Funding source requires U.S. citizenship
A minimum of one (1) year experience in electric propulsion laboratory is preferred
Modes of Work
Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Work agreements are reviewed annually at a minimum and are subject to change at any time, and for any reason, throughout the course of employment. Learn more about the work modes.

Additional Information
This is a 100% effort (40 hours per week) one year term limited position with possibility to extend contingent upon funding availability.
