Job Description
The College of Nursing Community and Population Health Department at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences in Memphis, Tennessee, is seeking a full-time non-tenure track Assistant/Associate Professor.

Responsibilities
Primary teaching responsibilities are within the DNP program. Teaching responsibilities include both didactic coursework and clinical supervision/mentoring of students. Responsibilities for this role include online didactic and clinical teaching. Additional teaching responsibilities include teaching across programs and/or concentrations, and may include grant writing, project leadership/management, and community engagement initiatives.

Qualifications
EDUCATION: Doctoral Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: RN License required. APRN certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner preferred.

DEPARTMENTAL PREFERENCES:

Teaching experience in a professional nursing program is desired. Experience in population/public health and nursing leadership preferred. Undergraduate teaching experience is preferred. Experience in curriculum development, in-person, and online teaching preferred. Evidence of scholarship and professional service activities is preferred.
